Emotional intelligence (EI) was first launched by John Mayer at the University of New Hampshire. The EI concept had its first breakthrough with Daniel Goleman's bestseller Emotional Intelligence, which received a lot of attention when it was published in 1995.

Studies conducted in the United States show that there is no direct correlation between those who have a high IQ and those who succeed in their professional lives. Leaders with the ability to listen, show empathy, and "see" a complete picture of the situations employees face use their emotional intelligence to inspire, motivate, and lead people.

More and more companies are realizing that their human resources, their human capital, are their greatest competitive advantage. In this context, emotional intelligence offers the basis for ensuring a better utilization of resources.

Once you come into contact with your own emotional intelligence, it will become easier for you to learn how you should manage and control your own life. Emotional intelligence is an important part of self-leadership and is decisive for the winners of the future.

The Art of Leading Yourself will help you increase your emotional intelligence.
